Massage therapists, fitness trainers, yoga teachers, physical therapists, body-workers and medical professionals! Martha is returning to England in November to lead another Somatic Exercise Coach Training (SEC) Level One.
Somatic Exercises relieve back, neck, shoulder and hip pain safely and effectively.
This Essential Somatics® training will teach information found nowhere else about most common muscle pain problems (back, neck/shoulder, hip pain), how they develop due to stress responses and what to do about them.
You will how to use Somatic Exercises and basic Hanna Somatics techniques to help others regain voluntary muscle function, balance and coordination in their movement – and relieve pain.
Somatic Exercises are now being used by professional American football players, competitive cyclists, yoga therapists, weight lifters, dancers and medical professionals.
Somatic Exercises prepare you to move better and more efficiently so you can do more of whatever activity you enjoy doing.

The training will take place at the Evergreen Chiropractic and Wellness Centre in Hertfordshire, England. Please contact Martha for a list of accommodations in the area.
Each student is required to have read Move Without Pain by Martha Peterson, or Somatics, Reawakening the Mind’s Control of Movement, Flexibility and Health, by Thomas Hanna, PhD.
Each student is also required to be familiar with the basic Somatic Exercises, as outlined in the book, Somatics, by Thomas Hanna, PhD.
