This Essential Somatics® training will teach information found nowhere else about most common muscle pain problems (back, neck/shoulder, hip pain), how they develop due to stress responses and what to do about them.

You will how to use Somatic Exercises and basic Hanna Somatics techniques to help  others regain voluntary muscle function, balance and coordination in their movement – and relieve pain.

Somatic Exercises are now being used by professional American football players, competitive cyclists, yoga therapists, weight lifters, dancers and medical professionals.

Somatic Exercises prepare you to move better and more efficiently so you can do more of whatever activity you enjoy doing.

Please share this announcement with colleagues you think would be interested in learning how to teach Somatic Exercises so they can help their clients, patients and students get to the root cause of most chronic muscular pain. Somatic Exercises help to improve sensory motor function, restore muscle function and improve posture and breathing. They are simple, safe and appropriate for all activity levels.

  1. Hi Martha,

Happy New Year to you. I’m just querying if you will be offering SEC Level one or any other training in Australia during 2014?

    • Hi Kathy,
I’m in discussion with my Australian organizer to run a full clinical training in Australia later this year (August or so?). Dates will be finalized soon. If I am able to run a training I will also offer a Somatic Exercise Coach Training Level One in Australia as well.
Please let me know if you’re interested in participating in a full clinical training. You can contact me directly about this. Also – may I put your name on my “Australia clients” email newsletter list so you can stay abreast of my teaching schedule?

      All the best,

      • Dear Martha,

Thanks so much for your response. At this stage it is unlikely that I can complete the full clinical training though I would be interested in seeing the proposed program and venue. If it is possible to organise a SEC Level 1 course as well I would definitely be interested in completing that.. Please do put me on your email list I would appreciate that very much. Thanks so much for all of the sharing of your knowledge, skill and insight on this site.
